Westminster Park
A green oasis close to the centre of Chester
Westminster Park is a Green Flag Award winning recreational park that was gifted by the Duke of Westminster to the people of Chester in 1946. It lies a short distance from the centre of Chester and is easily accessible by bus and car, with a large free car park and a cycle rack for those coming by bike. It a short walk from the surrounding residential districts of Curzon Park, Westminster Park, Handbridge, Kings Moat, Saltney and The Lache.
GreenDay Café sits in the centre of the park and forms the central hub for all activities including the Mini Golf Course and Westminster Park Golf Course that we run, and many other facilities including:

– Running circuit
– Picnic benches
– Football pitches
– Cricket ground
– Bowling & croquet lawns
It is home to many sports clubs such as:

The Friends of Westminster Park is a voluntary organisation that helps to look after the park and the best interests of local residents.
